Let's see, what happened this year... And yah, I'm going through some boring stuff today. Just a warning before you actually WANT to read...
Lately I've been reliving the my old self. I despised that person. I'm going to write this person off, as my only way to keep my sanity. I'm serious man, it's hard to keep at it, you know. It's the same reason when you understand how whiskey is drunk; the same how spicy and sour food attacks the heart; the same why we get mesmerised or stare into space.
A JC class gathering coming! Fantastic! First time in 3 years, and finally I get to see them coming together... Only, I'm not going. I've been an outcast of the class for as long as I can remember. The hurt of knowing the class is perfect without you - OUCH. I didn't even know what to reply to the invitation. JC saw my first case of depression. Yupz. More depressed than anyone squashed by a whale. *cold wind blow* Hey, laugh! You owe me!
And come to think of it, I don't feel like going any gathering. There's just full of "why ah?" in my mind. It's kinda tiring at times lah. Even more tiring when you have to answer "WHY?" Eh, cut me some slack lah... Look sian? No why lah. Feel sad? No why lah. "Why" han zi lah, "why"...
Eh, why this year got so many pple stressed ah? Here say want to stop blogging, there say feel a bit lonely.... Lucky the numbers I still can count with my two hands ah. Don't like that lah. You stop bloggin ah, I less one blog to read. So sad! Brandon is right about knowing more about people through blogs. And, well, the loneliness issue has been discussed before.
Well, if I'm to look at myself, I guess issues just pop up in front of me lah. Often, it's 言者无心，听者有意 case, then think too much. Just like every year. Yeah, something like, my bet is on my failure to learn Japanese proficiently in my next Japanese module. Just not good enough lah, cannot ah?
Oh yah, freaking Mac users. Stop reprimanding Windows users! We're not some third class citizens!

Hmm... what's so happy about this year? Well, the fact that I'm living loh. Grown 1 year less of being naive. Learnt that I can do really bad for a paper and still pass. Exposure to baito. Learnt more about Chinatown and other misc places. Knowing JMC/JSS (most impt!). Constant desire to learn. Constant desire to take a break from learning. Explored MoS. Made new frens majoring in math with me. Class outings. Finally being able to sing a Japanese song at karaoke. Hikki came out with 2 new singles. Strengthen my relationship with my overseas frens and cuz (singular. not pulral heh) Actually took six modules for my sem. Got to know that I shld avoid JS dept pple. (THAT'S RIGHT. It's a good thing. Exception to Amazaki sensei) My first baito kids returned mail. Learnt a new dance routine. Saw Hikki's Bohemian Summer. Discovered LASH. Learnt that own not equals owe. Learnt how small Singapore is. Learnt to know my place.
oK, enough crap. Resolutions? Simply to let my 2006 rock.
One more resolution? Umm... less boring posts like these. Yea.
One more? Umm... try to be lonely. Yah, since everyone's complaining about it. Ha!

Today's dental a bit special. Why? I have no idea why I the dentist placed the rubber across the front of my teeth. So, I cannot eat properly or speak properly (not that I could before... hehe...). I can't open my mouth properly for goodness sake! Kinda beats the purpose of changing the colours of the modules...
Need a reason why I didn't go for 2nite's exco dinner? There.
Back to the topic, I didn't have the Tiong Bahru chee quay this time. Not after the vomitting incident. So headed home for porridge. Rained again while I was having it. No complains though. The purplish blue dusk sky, orange glow from the street lamp light, and the visible rain drops falling under the glow, accompanied by the light patters of rain and far-away engines of vehicles passing by. 很有 きもち leh!
Please don't kill me for putting Chinese, Japanese and Singlish together... What can I say? I'm a twisted linguist. :p

Every single time I bid for the modules, it seems that there is a certain process I'll go through.
1) Plan my ideal mods
2) Fustration at timetable clashes
3) Discover new modules that I've never paid attention to
4) Take something I don't really think I would
Let's see what I've discovered this sem... Umm, Introduction to Narrative. Something about narratives in film and literature. It's suspicious when the module code is GEK1XXX, and perclusions are EL4XXX modules. Another module, Ideas and Appraoches to Architecture. Though it's not a sem 2 module, still it's interesting and clearly neglected.
Haizz... So many outings. Going out again... Save the rain, eh?

Invitation. Free. Hanging out with long time no see friends like Anxiang and Songming. What more reason do I need to find out about Ministry of Sound?
Only problem was it's a Thursday, and the main floor played HOUSE. Horrible House. Hectic House. Well saved though, by the other rooms available. Comfy, white "PURE" played Chill, caged "SMOOVE" played R&B, and the heavenly retro "54" played retro and disco. Couldn't have the techno room. Is there even one?
Thank goodness we went early, because the queue was short. Of course, the party hasn't started, so we booked a table while the 10 of us ordered drinks. Didn't know half of them though. Haha... They are 1-for-1 till 11pm, so remember that people.
Of course, the party started in the other rooms other than the main floor. So? Let's head for SMOOVE. The DJ I thought was quite cool with his scratch, but it proved to be the only thing he knew. The beat kept running, a little down on atmosphere on some parts. Some dude climbed onto the bass box and did really cool legwork. Standing beside the bass box, I can't help but be mesmerised by it.
Excitement is contagious. ALCOHOL-FILLED M* (AFM) had to attempt to try. AFM did, and perhaps went a little crazy over head-banging and hands movements. How crazy? Enough to have someone poke AFM through the fence. AFM's back was to the fence, and behind the fence tables for drinking. AFM thought it was a fake sensation, and CONTINUED. 2nd poke. AFM looked around again, noticing two girls 2 metres away. Uh-oh, too much liao. Irritating someone liao. Cut down. Third poke. The girls waved, and mouthed "Hi!"
Haha... too bad, gotta leave for 54 liao. Ciaoz. I kept slapping myself on my way to the 2nd level to keep myself from smiling. Hey, not everytime you get picked up by girls loh. The red light really helps I guess...

oK anyways!! 54 was a heaven for retro lovers. You get a touch of disco with retro beats. Though I had only spent 5 minutes there, the remix of "Billie Jean" was fantastic. Not for the Zouk para-para, but much more freedom in dance as compared to R&B. Which brings me to say, if you don't have an open mind for retro, stay away from me. Let me know if you don't like retro, so I will avoid it. Don't just keep quiet. I cannot read minds one! (right, the ah-beng accent can't really get through here...)
5 minutes of retro. Only 5 minutes of retro is all I can get out of the 5 hours I had. 1 out of 10 people likes retro, and statistics may prove worse than that.
Back to the table. More house. Ack.

Wow... these past two weeks have been busy sia. Not only packed with baitos, but lots of playing and shopping too!
Baitos had its up and downs, and I'm still traumatized by the "Black Friday" session. It's gonna be a permanent fear for me before every baito. Never knew I could make "enemies" in such a such time, like in just 10 min!! :'( Seriously, it's putting thoughts in my head like finding a replacement for the coming Friday baito. Anyway, thanks to them, I got another "song" coming out. Just need to get a little time off to do it though.
Apart from the dinners and games, I also did some shopping! Spent 200+ in 2 days. Yikes. And I haven't finished revamping my wardrobe yet. Got the "bowling shoes" which I'm rather proud of. I'd probably gonna wear it even it doesn't match my outfit. Who's in for a shopping trip?
Just got to know Nic's fren, Jenson. Why am I mentioning this? Because I've named Nic, Jenson and Brandon as the "Buaya 3". Hahahaha... For further details, please use your imagination. Will rename once I get the Japanese equivalent...

3) New found meaning in these songs
Well, recently dug up my "'96 New Top Hits" (yes, back when piracy was not restricted... hehehe), and really got back to my days of "One Sweet Day" (M. Carey & BoyzIIMen), "Naked and Sacred" (Chynna Phillips), "When Love and Hate Collide" (Def Leppard), "Exhale (Shoop Shoop)" (Whitney Houston). The ultimate was still "Gangsta's Paradise" by Coolio. Shaoz' home was like a entertainment centre loh. KTV downstairs, PS2 arcade upstairs, food court to the left, snacks everywhere, and Princess Lily as the house mascot. Kinda shuddering to know if she masters the salute everytime she sees me. Good to know that'll never happen... Anyway, we need to bring all the Japanese karaoke songs to her house. Great "KTV" seesion. Haha... I chop the black cushions!
Finally got to see Shaoz play the violin. It's a wonderful instrument. Though I can't really appreciate the duet that she played with her sis, the texture was still soothing in a way. And she has the exact same score I have for "Victor's Piano Solo". You still got the pdf for "Jack and Sally Montage", Shaoz?
Oh, yes. I lost my onyx ring. :/ Must go get another...

Woohoo!! S4 outing today!! So good to see old frens!! Really thankful for them to take the time out to meet everyone. Winnie's so chatty (in a good way!), Peili's changed so much, and “月风“'s still that quiet. And I just found another mambosexual to go Mambo Nights with me!
