(by Utada Hikaru)

Don't ask why my heart beats so fast.
You don't ask why the stars shine,
Or why dreams are sweet.
Don't ask why I love you.

Alot of things happened lately, but I'm back!
1) I don't have free time. I manage mine better than you do.
2) I've lost my old self, so I gotta build myself from scratch. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu. (Unless Rina's got a clue where I was...)
3) The reason I've been using white fonts is to ease myself for a transition. I KNOW not to use white fonts against bright bckgrd. I'm stupid, not dumb. (Oh, that stupidity remains in the new me. Live with it.)
4) My friends have Realists as good friends. Good.
5) How to remove the 7 Sins? By abandoning Ego.
6) I have great recovery skills. Don't look down on me.
7) Those who have seen GTO manga will know how I got my blog title. Yoroshiku indeed!
8) Love the fonts, so not planning to change. Hope the colours and design are dull enough. Revamp will only take place after exams.
9) Gd luck for exams to all except Vinc who has already completed his. I know I'll need it. Let me know how your exams turn out, ya?
Enjoy my "inspiration" during my studies of history of Japan! Out.
life of a japanese emperor

(Sing along to Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive")
(and try to imagine the Emperor dancing John Travolta style, with his servants doing backup dancing with featherdusters and tea pots...)
At first I was afraid,
I was petrified.
Kept thinking I could never live
With that sword by your side.
And then you killed the rest,
And next you left me here alive.
Ieyasu...
Wonder if you're a bane or a boon.
And now you're back
From Osaka,
With Hideyoshi's head and even
His wife tied down to your bed.
I should have set a marriage law...
I should have set monogamy...
But if I really did,
Dear God, what will happen to me?!
Go on now, walk out the door.
You are Shogun now,
Don't ask for gay marriages anymore.
Weren't you the one who tried to hurt me with goodbye?
You think I'd crumble?
You think I'd lay down for thy...?
Oh no, not I!
I will survive!
As long as I know how to "做!"
I know I will stay alive!
I've got all my life to live,
I've got all my love to give,
And I'll survive,
I will survive!
It took all my wives I had
Not to fall apart.
Kept trying hard to mend
The pieces of my broken heart.
And I spent oh so many nights
With Hideyoshi's son,
And some of the mornings
With Hideyoshi's buns.
Now you see me
Somebody new!
I'm not that chained up little person
Still in love with you.
And so you felt like dropping in
And just expect me to be free.
Now I'm saving all my loving
For your dogs that are loving me.
(hey hey hey, stop rubbing against me till the song's over, dammit!)
I will survive!
As long as I know how to "干!"
I know I will stay alive!
I've got all my life to live,
I've got all my love to give,
And I'll survive,
I will survive!

mambo nights

11 November 2005
(Sing along to Bon Jovi's "Blaze of Glory")
For mambosexuals!
I wake up in the morning
And I raise my drunken head.
Got a drink jug for a pillow
And the road was last night's bed.
I don't know where I'm going,
Only God knows where I've done:
Jugging down magaritas,
Long Island Lover,
A night of Mambo fun... YEAH!!
When you're brought into Z-Zouk
They say you're born "Ah Beng".
Well, at least they gave me two drinks
With 20 bucks of enterance's pay.
And played without a warning
"Love in the 1st Degree"!
Then followed by "Square Rooms",
And "Summer Rain",
My hands starts to move with glee...
I'm going down in a blaze of Mambo!
Dance right now, or learn the moves.
I'm going down in a blaze of dancing!
Lord I never danced hard,
But my arms grooved hard
All the way till three.
That's me - MB.
You ask me about my talents
And I offer you Retro.
You ask if I'll grow out of Mambo
Well I ask if I'll grow old.
You ask me if I known love,
And what it's like to pick up at the bar.
Well, I've seen love come,
And I've seen it get drunk,
I've seen it get too far.
Too far in a blaze of Mambo!
Dance right now, or learn the moves.
I'm going down in a blaze of dancing!
Lord I never danced hard,
But my arms grooved hard
All the way till three.
That's me - MB.
Each night I go to bed,
I pray the Lord my soles to keep.
No, I ain't looking for forgiveness,
But before I'm six foot deep...
Lord, I got to ask a favour,
And I'll hope you'll understand.
'Cause I've lived nights to the fullest,
Let the boy control the dance.
Staring down the dance floor
As I take the podium stand...
Go down in a blaze of Mambo!
Dance right now, or learn the moves.
I'm going down in a blaze of dancing!
Lord I never danced hard,
But my arms grooved hard
All the way till three.
That's me - MB.

08 November 2005
These past weeks have been a period of many firsts.
First time meeting Japanese students.
First time going to do Baito.
First time having a lecturer purposely giving 50 percent when I scored only 35 percent. (PURPOSELY, not count wrongly.)
First time having a terrifying toliet experience.
First time having a comm problem.
First time getting the highest essay grade possible in Film and History.
All these mean one thing: First time I'll actually fail my exams.
But my guts are telling me otherwise. No signs telling me otherwise too. *wonder wonder*

36° when it rains.
36° when you're sad.
36° when we stroll.
36° when I'm glad.
36° when the sun goes down.
36° when the bus comes round.
36° when we say goodbye.
36° are the tears we cry.
