... really need a replacement for my ring. Tml tml...
ANYWAY!! I was telling Brandon and Steve... I mean, Yang Jun... I mean, Steve, I was back into "November Rain" by Guns and Roses.
What is this feeling you get with old songs anyway? Think there are 3 types:
1) Reminisce of the enjoyment of the songs
2) Attached memories with the songs
3) New found meaning in these songs
Well, recently dug up my "'96 New Top Hits" (yes, back when piracy was not restricted... hehehe), and really got back to my days of "One Sweet Day" (M. Carey & BoyzIIMen), "Naked and Sacred" (Chynna Phillips), "When Love and Hate Collide" (Def Leppard), "Exhale (Shoop Shoop)" (Whitney Houston). The ultimate was still "Gangsta's Paradise" by Coolio. COoooOL song!
Wonder if I can find any more old songs buried...

Uh-oh, I didn't give Shaoz any bdae present!!
Well, actually I did. Didn't even tell her it WAS. Unorthodox, I know. 40 'cherry bombs', which I name "First Time". Sweet. Sour. All nice. Well, if not... put it on my tab! o_O"
(See Carol, I'll probably do better than you in Home Econs!)
Shaoz' home was like a entertainment centre loh. KTV downstairs, PS2 arcade upstairs, food court to the left, snacks everywhere, and Princess Lily as the house mascot. Kinda shuddering to know if she masters the salute everytime she sees me. Good to know that'll never happen... Anyway, we need to bring all the Japanese karaoke songs to her house. Great "KTV" seesion. Haha... I chop the black cushions!
Finally got to see Shaoz play the violin. It's a wonderful instrument. Though I can't really appreciate the duet that she played with her sis, the texture was still soothing in a way. And she has the exact same score I have for "Victor's Piano Solo". You still got the pdf for "Jack and Sally Montage", Shaoz?
Oh, yes. I lost my onyx ring. :/ Must go get another...
Diving into Bohemian Summer!
And Happy Bdae again, Shaoz!

To laugh.
To cry.
To suffer.
To fly.
Excruiating torments, as suspend leers the waiting heart.
Heavenly lift, as a touch replaces demented discorded art.
Thus life's proof,
In a single truth.
I love.
I live.

Woohoo!! S4 outing today!! So good to see old frens!! Really thankful for them to take the time out to meet everyone. Winnie's so chatty (in a good way!), Peili's changed so much, and “月风“'s still that quiet. And I just found another mambosexual to go Mambo Nights with me!
Saw Suen Cin also! Genki desu ne... Didn't take photo... :'(
Speaking of photos, I'm not going to trust an outsider to take group photos liao. Spoilt the group photo! ARGH!
Hmm... it was partly a food tour day too. Ate so much...
1230 - Lunch. Horrid Mushroom Tofu.
1520 - Big Popcorn Bucket
1800 - Marche
2100 - Double Scoop Ice Cream
I know, not really much, but proves my ability to eat some more. No problems for future whole day food tour!
Oh yeah. Learnt a new phrase: "single, but not available".
Argh... getting lazy liao. Cannot... cannot...

T'was the night of our Baito,
When all thru the night,
We became karaoke siaos,
Then to Maxwell for a bite.
As we parted our ways,
Four waited for a ride.
Long it was in the rain,
Past midnight, a taxi arrived.

Argh, tonight's taxi really took a really long route. But to be sheltered from the rain is really comforting to know.
And the lightning won't be able to hit me in the rain because I'm 22 years old. Proof? The gods got so angry that I found out this secret, and made us wait for an hour for a taxi. In the rain. Tired.
But happy!
*Salute!* is my first nick that doesn't require you to open your mouth to call me. Wow.

24 November 2005
Today went out for dinner, and this restuarant was playing Christmas songs. I mean those karaoke types on television like when you go for karaoke. Damn bad video...
Anyway, realised I only know 9 of the 15 Christmas songs. This means these 22 years I only got to know 60% or less of all the classic Christmas songs out there.
Hey, I can't help it if there are titles like "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer"!
Hmm... this year "All I Want For Christmas" by Mariah C. and "Blue Christmas" by Bon Jovi are still going to vie for number one on my Favourite Christmas Song Chart.

23 November 2005
Yeah! This is my first time bringing my iPod along with me for my run.
Of course, I was careful about it, since iPod uses a hard drive. There were quite a lot of concern over whether it would damage the iPod in the long run. But research helps, and I brought it along, knowing how iPod uses its small flash drive it has with the HD.
Running along to Eurobeats was fantastic. You no longer need to pace yourself; the beat does it for you. And of course, I strode along to the heart-thumping tunes from Initial D Stage 1 like "Space Boy" and "No One Sleeps In Tokyo". But then "Heartbeat" had so many beats I almost died of a heart attack listening to/following it... *GASP*
And no, I did not blast the music, y'all. "Not good for your ears!" I know, I know. And I didn't want to not able to hear someone saying, "EXCUSE ME!" jin pai seh leh...
Outran an OCS guy! Woohoo! Officers... PUI!

Been having continuous nights of nightmares lately.
Thank you Hikki, for a song that stirs the passion in my heart. The fall of sakura petals, the drums that echo, my Queen. I'll finally be able to sleep well this night.
